Painting Process

For every painting project we quote, our customers receive a detailed outline of the job and a firm price. Our prices are all inclusive of paint, materials and labor. Meaning the price quoted and agreed upon is the price you pay. There are never additional hidden charges.

Once decided to go ahead with the work our interior designer will be in contact to schedule a time for a free colour consult. After that we will figure out a time frame that works for all parties and the work will be completed as scheduled.

Once completed our house painters will give you time to look around and do a walk through to make sure all areas are completed to satisfaction. As always all workmanship and materials are fully warrantied.

Paysons Painting strives to keep you as comfortable in your home as we complete your interior painting in Calgary. Rather then take over your whole home while working on it, we will only take on areas we can complete each day. That means we will prep, paint, and clean up each area as we go.

Prep Work

All furniture will be moved to the center of the room and covered with painters poly plastic
Light and plug switch plates will be removed
All floors surrounding walls will be covered with drop sheets
Bare drywall/wood or hard to paint surfaces will be primed with the appropriate primer
Surfaces will be sanded with 120 grit sandpaper
Imperfections in the surfaces to be painted will be filled with drywall mud or wood filler
Cracks in door frames or windows will be recaulked
Any flaking paint will be scraped and sanded

Mike and Moya did a fantastic job of our rooms and stairs. It certainly transformed these areas and improved the look immensely. They were punctual and worked diligently throughout the day. They were very clean and tidy in their work. The painting was extremely professional and both were very particular in their work. Mike ensured we were happy along the way. I can’t say enough good things about my experience using Paysons Painting. They care about the quality of their work and it shows.
