Premium Calgary Cabinet Painting and Refinishing Services

This question can vary quite widely.  To answer this we will need to determine the spec of the job.  We will need to know what the current finish is?  What the desired finish is?  The size of the project?  With that being said most kitchens will come in between $3000.00 - $5500.00.  Our prices include labor, materials, and paint.  All quotes are free so please get in touch with us or fill out our online quote for a firm price.

We will remove all the doors and the will be taken to the shop and finished in our spray booth.  The rest of the cabinets (Frames and gables)  Will be taped off and finished right onsite. 

A typical kitchen will take 3-4 days on site and another 4 days to bring back the doors and install them.  

The first day we will arrive and clean all the surfaces to remove any dirt, grease, or grim.  The doors and drawer fronts will be removed and sent to the shop.  We will then tape off and cover up the entire kitchen to protect all surfaces from overspray.  Depending how far we get on the first day we may or may not get a prime coat applied.  The following day we will spray out and finish the kitchen.  That leaves the third day for a complete clean up.  The doors require a bit longer to finish at the shop.  Typically they will be brought back and installed in about 4 days after the onsite work is completed. 

Traditionally cabinets have been finished in solvent based lacquer.  While we can still use this finish it is an extremely harmful and volatile compound.  These days solvent lacquer has been fading out in favor of waterborne compounds.  Water based lacquers and paints have come a long way and match and even exceed the durability and quality of the solvent based products in a lot of ways.  There are many different types of water based products. That being said there are certain times were the solvent based lacquers are the only option.  We will give you our advice and expertise on the best product to use for each job.  

You bet it will. Before we do any painting the cabinets will be cleaned and sanded.  As our first coat an ultra high quality bonding primer is applied.  It will stick completely to the current product and leave us with the perfect surface for our top coats.
